It’s currently only available at hangouts.google.com and that will start redirecting to Google Chat on November 1. Here’s what you need to know. Halloween Treats Here are some options for getting into the Halloween spirit:  Get a website ready for next Halloween. Starting November 8 you can register a .boo domain to use for a spooky site. YouTube says #HalloweenMood is a new trend in Shorts . Creators show themselves or an object, then when the beat drops to the song “Zombie Rave” there’s a transformation into something Halloweeny. If you use your personal Google account for business, you can add a Google Workspace Individual subscription for access to premium Google Workspace features. Unlike a Google Workspace business account, you don’t need to have your own domain or manage your own email. Google Workspace Individual launched in June 2021 , with a few premium Meet meeting and Google Calendar appointment features. Since then new premium features have been added for Meet, Gmail, Calendar, Docs and Chat. Note: This article was last updated in October 2024.        It also comes with live (human) support. And with this week’s announcement , Workspace Individual will also include 1 TB of storage to use across Drive, Gmail, Photos and the rest of your Google account. You can also get some premium Google Meet meeting features with a Google One (2TB+) subscription in some countries . This was a big week for updates.  YouTube introduced @handles as unique channel identifiers (for everyone) and expanded the Community Tab to many (most?) channels.  YouTube Partners were alarmed by an AdSense payments account closure notice, and AdSense launched an improved “Brand Safety” tab and the option to enable first-party cookies.  Google, Microsoft, and Facebook shared their vision of the future office, plus lots of updates available today for video meetings, chat, and productivity services.
